Two-lipped Tulips

Thorny Egos,
Locked in rooms,
Snipping-snapping,
Biting, blasting.

Selfish-selfies,
Eating their young:
Burping-slurping,
Chewing, spewing.

Caricatures cracking,
Hip-slip smacking,
Chucking send-ups,
Sipping tea-cups.

Roar with laughter, little slackers,
Glow in the wake of billionaire backers.
So-called bright lights, little bit-blips,
Bioluminescent glitter, overwhelmed by “The Sun.”

Daggered Egos,
Locked in cells,
Backing-slapping,
Bitter, blasting.

Roar with echoes, nippy skivers,
Broom-room nappers, mapping deep lagoons.
Visit victories, drop-dead-locked in bland-past pastures,
Work for a living, do what’s asked …

Prickly Egos,
Two-lipped lizards,
Dissect your rotting corpse,
As tulips nip your dusty bones.
